Please keep in mind that I only have the PC version of these games, so I can't vouch for the accuracy of any of the console cheats. Unless otherwise indicated, all cheats are done during gameplay and are based on the default control configuration. If you have changed any controls, either try the cheats with the corresponding keys you've assigned, or revert to the defaults before entering cheats.
WARNING: For TR3 on all systems, do not use the trick of beating the game and then starting a new game to get all weapons and ammo. This will work, but it can result in a bug in which some or all of the middle locations (Nevada, South Pacific and London) are skipped. As far as I know, the codes can be used effectively in the Lost Artifact sequel.
Using the level skip cheat can also lead to situations where you are missing necessary items in later levels, so you will not be able to finish the game without further cheating. Use the codes at your own risk.
PC & Macintosh Level Skip: Draw PISTOLS.* Walk one step back, one step forward, crouch, release crouch, turn around three times and immediately jump forward.
PC & Macintosh All Weapons & Ammo: Draw PISTOLS.* Walk one step back, one step forward, crouch, release crouch, turn around three times in either direction and immediately back flip. This cheat also provides medipaks.
Useful Ammo Glitch: Allows you to fire powerful ammo, like grenades or rockets, using rapid-fire weapons like the MP5 or harpoon gun. See below for details.
PC Flight Patch - This unofficial patch allows Lara to fly in TR2, 3 and 4. Tombraiders.net does not support this patch. Use it at your own risk. (Download)
Quad Bike out of the Racetrack: See this page in the TR3 walkthrough.
PC & Mac Savegame Files: An alternative to cheat codes is to download a save file from just beyond the spot where you're stuck.
PC Savegame and Position Editors - Edit your save files to add weapons, items, health, change Lara's status (air, on fire), or reposition her anywhere in a level. For details, see the Savegame Editors page.
*In the PC game, you may be able to do the level-skip and all-wapons cheats without drawing pistols, but using weapons other than the pistols will cause Lara to explode. If you're using the numeric keypad controls and are having trouble with these cheats, try doing them with the regular arrow keys.
PlayStation Level Skip: Quickly press L2, R2, L2 (twice), R2, L2, R2, L2, R2, L2 (four times), R2, L2, R2 (four times), L2 during game play. If you entered the code correctly, Lara will say "No." (Confirmed to work for PSVita as well.)
PlayStation All Weapons & Ammo: Quickly press L2, R2 (twice), L2 (four times), R2, L2, R2 (twice), L2, R2 (twice), L2 (twice), R2, L2 (twice), R2 during game play. You'll hear Lara scream if you've entered the code correctly. This code also gives medipaks, flares and save crystals. (Confirmed to work for PSVita as well.)
Useful Ammo Glitch: Allows you to fire powerful ammo, like grenades or rockets, using rapid-fire weapons like the MP5 or harpoon gun. See below for details.
PlayStation All Items/Secrets: Quickly press L2 (five times), R2, L2 (three times), R2, L2, R2, L2 (twice), R2, L2 (twice), R2, L2 (twice) during game play. You'll hear Lara sigh if you've entered the cheat correctly. NOTE: This gives you all items, such as keys, puzzle pieces, etc., and a score of 8 secrets for any level in which you enter it. In order to access the bonus level at the end of the game, you need to find or cheat at least 59 secrets during the course of the game. (Confirmed to work for PSVita as well.)
PlayStation Get Race Track Key (in Training Level): Quickly press R2, L2 (three times), R2, L2 (six times), R2, L2 (five times), R2, L2 (twice) during game play. You'll hear Lara say "No" if you've entered the cheat correctly.
Quad Bike out of the Racetrack: See this page in the TR3 walkthrough.
PlayStation Full Health: Quickly press R2 (twice), L2, R2, L2 (six times), R2, L2 (three times), R2, L2 (five times) during game play. You'll hear Lara sigh if you've entered the cheat correctly.
NOTE TO VITA PLAYERS: When using the original PS1 cheat codes noted above on the PSVita, you will need to assign the L2 and R2 buttons to the front touch screen and use digital controls (i.e., the pad and not the analog sticks) for entering the cheats. Thanks to Andrew S. for this info. I'm still not sure if the NTSC codes work.
PSP Cheat Codes:
Apparently the TR3 cheats for the PlayStation do work on PSP but you need to use the analogue stick instead of the buttons. L2 is left and R2 is right. (Thanks to Jake W. for the update.)
Useful Ammo Glitch (PC, Mac and PlayStation): This useful bug allows you to fire powerful ammo, like grenades or rockets, using rapid-fire weapons like the MP5 or harpoon gun. Basically it works with all the weapons Lara holds using both hands and cannot use while crouching—so all except the pistols, Uzis and Desert Eagle.
Or, try this abbreviated version for PC/Mac only:
