If you're not sure how to get secret #1, follow the main walkthrough. At the end of the street, near the red car, there are 3 sets of MP5 clips sitting on an L-shaped ledge overlooking the beach. (One of these will be the MP5 SUBMACHINE GUN if you don't already have it.)

When you pick up the ammo (or rifle) at the corner of the ledge, the camera shifts to a wide-angle view, and you'll notice 2 mutants emerging from a doorway below.

If you're taking the "normal" route through the level, there's no need to shoot these guys from above, since you'll have an opportunity to kill them with pistols when you get closer. But if you plan to drop down here, it's a good idea to use the MP5 to take them out first.

Make sure Lara's health bar is more than half full, since she'll lose about half in the fall. Turn around to face the clock. Stow your weapon so Lara has her hands free. Then hop back off the corner...

...and hold Action to slide down the slope behind you.

Lara won't grab the edge, but if you continue to hold Action, she'll fall forward slightly...

...land on the rocky slope below...

...and slide down to the ground from there.

You can then deal with the 3 remaining mutants. Two appear when you take either of the large medi packs sitting on the grates, and another mutant comes down the block steps when you jump up the slope into the cave with secret #3.

You can climb up into the area shown above and get secret #3. You'll need to go all the way up the steps to trigger the secret chime. Then work your way back down, picking up the goodies as described in the main walkthrough. When you're ready to leave, climb the block steps (shown in the screenshot above) and pick up the main walkthrough near the end.
