"This is Lara!" Achievement/Trophy Progress
After obtaining the EARTH CRYSTAL, as shown in the previous section, a mostly solid floor appears between the alcove and the entrance, which is also the exit. The 2 levers on the side walls re-open the gate leading back to the HALL OF SEASONS. As you step into the room, 3 fire knights (1-3) appear and begin hurling fireballs in Lara's direction. The main walkthrough includes some general tips for avoiding/subduing them. However, if you're after the achievement/trophy "This is Lara!" you'll need to knock all three into the hole in the floor.
Here's one strategy that worked well for me: Run forward to spawn the knights. (I'll refer to them as Left Knight, Middle Knight, and Right Knight, based on where they first appear. Sorry, I don't know their given names.)
Take running jumps around the left side of the hole, ignoring Left Knight and Middle Knight for now, to draw the Right Knight away from the wall and toward the hole.
Circle back around toward the right lever, so Lara is between the lever and the Right Knight, with the hole behind him/
Draw the shotgun and blast him a few times to knock him into the pit. (Strafe left-to-right if necessary so your shots hit him from the correct angle, and jump out of the way of incoming fireballs. I know, simple, right?)
Meanwhile, Left Knight and Middle Knight should be shambling toward Lara (and the hole). Holster your weapon and run/jump clockwise around the hole, toward Left Knight.
Draw the shotgun again as you move between the left lever and the knight.
Again, adjust your position if necessary to avoid his sword attacks, and Middle Knight's fireballs, as you blast Left Knight into the pit.
If Lara does get hit with a fireball, you can either reload...
...or run through one of the waterfalls...
...to extinguish the flames. Then heal if necessary.
It takes a bit of effort to lure Middle Knight close to the pit. But if you run around the hole once or twice, he should become fixated on Lara and start to approach.
If things are going well, you can quick-save as you do this.
When Middle Knight is fairly close to the hole, draw your shotgun, run around beside/behind him...
...and blast him into the abyss.
NOTE: If you followed the same sequence of elemental levels that I have, these will be undead knights 3-5/17 in the running count toward the achievement/trophy.
Now, pull the 2 levers on the side walls to open the gate and return to the HALL OF SEASONS.
