High Security Compound - Luring the Guard from the Office to the Cell Block

Press the button in the corner of the KITCHEN to open the door, and go through. There are 2 more buttons in this hallway. Go around the corner to the right...

...and press this button first to open the door to the MESS HALL.

Then press the button next to the other closed door. This is an OFFICE with a guard inside. When you open the door, he comes out and tries to beat on Lara with his baton. Since you still don't have any weapons, you'll need to lure him back to the cell block so the convicts can subdue him.

So as soon as you press the button to open the OFFICE door, roll and run forward around the corner to the left...

...with the guard in pursuit...

Go straight forward into the MESS HALL. You could also jump across the tables to the far left corner, but it's easy to get hung up if you're not agile with the controls. I prefer skirting the edges of the room and either taking running jumps or sprinting to cover more ground faster. When you reach the far wall, turn left...

...continue forward past the tables and turn right at the next corner.

As you enter the BAY D CORRIDOR, turn right again. (You can go around to the left but it takes longer and has more turns.)

Then, instead of continuing straight ahead toward the RESTROOM door, turn left into the wider part of the CORRIDOR.

Keep running straight on through the open gate into the CELL BLOCK.

The George Michael squad will come out to meet you and make short work of the guard. Then relieve him of his small medi pack.
