Kuwaq Yaku – Trinity Encampment Stealth Approach (part 1)

The area just beyond the fence has several lengths of empty pipe, a few bushes where you can hide, and a vine-covered wall just ahead on the left. Move into cover there, then sidle to the right and watch the enemies' movements. One immediately wanders away, leaving just 2 men in this area.

If you remain in hiding against the vine-covered wall, one of the men should come to you. Wait until you see the Melee prompt above his head, then press Melee...

...for a stealth kill. Loot the body.

Then make sure the second guy has his back turned before sneaking up behind him. As you approach, move up against the vine-covered wall (i.e., the lower right part of the metal structure with the stairs).

Sidle along until you're close enough to press Melee for another stealth kill. (You can probably also just sneak up behind him without hiding in the vines.)

Advance a little further, moving to the left to get behind the metal structure overgrown with vegetation.

There's another wall with mud and vines back there, but you don't need to hide. Just move quietly to the far end so you can watch the next 2 enemies. They should climb the steps onto the metal platform. Meanwhile, you can move forward out to the left and hide behind the two large cable spools.

Grab one of the bottles sitting on top of one of the spools.

Hold Alternate Fire to craft a Molotov using cloth from your inventory. Wait until the men are standing close to each other. Then aim and toss the flaming bottle...

...to kill them both in the most gruesome way. (Review Molotov mechanics in the Cozumel walkthrough if necessary.)

Or, if you have unlocked the Serpent's Fury skill, you can sneak up on these two from the left side, as shown above.

While they're talking, creep out from behind the wall and approach the man on the right. You should see a Melee icon above his head, and a Chained Takedown icon (two skulls) above the second enemy.

Press Melee to stealth kill the first man. Then quickly press it again to take down the second.

The Chain Gang Achievement/Trophy requires you to do 3 of these chained takedowns. If you like, you can reload the checkpoint and repeat this sequence until the achievement/trophy pops, but you will have other opportunities later.

Once the flames die down, search the charred bodies. Then continue past the big yellow Porvenir tank and into the bushes near the big tree ahead.

From here, you can scope out the last 4 mercenaries in the clearing ahead and formulate a strategy. In case you want to use mine, I have numbered the men in this screenshot in the order Lara will deal with them.
