How to unlock all of Lara's outfits (costumes, skins) in Rise of the Tomb Raider, including in-game rewards, card-based outfits, and purchased DLC.
This page includes a complete list Lara's outfits. Some are unlocked as you play through the game. Some are purchased DLC. A few include skins for various weapons, like the bow, climbing axe, and combat knife. Details about these are on the separate Weapons page.
Several outfits require additional crafting after they have been unlocked. The table below the pictures has details, and you'll find more info on the Crafting and Equipment page.
SELECTING AND CHANGING OUTFITS: To change outfits, go to any Base Camp and select the Weapons Menu. (Yes, Lara uses style as a weapon. Get used to it.) In the Weapons Menu, press RB on the controller to cycle through the weapon types to Outfits, or mouse click on the Outfits icon. Follow the on-screen prompts to try on the outfits you've unlocked, craft them (where applicable), and equip them.
Here are all the available outfits. The developers have been releasing a series of "Gear Up Guides" with detailed renders showing each outfit from different angles and describing its components. These large images are linked below each thumbnail image and will open in a new window.
Below the pictures you'll find detailed descriptions of all outfits and how to unlock them.

| Sacra Umbra | Thick chain mail and black plated armor. A relic from a darker age. BONUS: Reduces the delay before health begins regenerating when damaged. |

| Hope's Bastion | A mix of woven chain mail, a thick blue shirt, and exotic fur cowl. Also includes the Wreckoner battle axe skin. BONUS: Firing arrows sometimes won't reduce the count of available ammo. (Some of the published descriptions for this outfit say it also boosts Lara's charged bow shots, but I didn't notice any difference.) |
